MeltonVEC™ -Sendai iPSC Reprogramming Kit (MSV1001-2)

Product Details

MeltonVEC™ Sendai Virus iPSC Reprogramming Kit can efficiently induce somatic cells into induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), making the reprogramming process more stable and controllable. The kit is suitable for various starting cell types, including peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and T cells, and can be used to establish iPSC lines with different genetic backgrounds.

The MeltonVEC™ Sendai Virus Reprogramming Kit is an efficient, non-integrating iPSC reprogramming product suitable for various starting cell types. It balances reprogramming efficiency, operational convenience, and the advantage of rapid vector clearance during cell line establishment.

Key features include:

Efficient reprogramming of various starting cells, including fibroblasts, blood cells, and others.

Specially optimized for PBMC reprogramming, further improving reprogramming efficiency and shortening the induction period.

Rapid clearance of RNA vectors, facilitating subsequent cell applications.

Sendai virus vectors are suitable for iPSC reprogramming of various somatic cell types.

The following somatic cell types have been successfully used for iPSC induction.
adult and neonatal dermal fibroblastsamniotic fluid MSCscardiac fibroblasts
CD34-positive blood cellsmammary epithelial cellsnasal epithelial cells
peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs)skeletal muscle myoblastsT cells

Introduction to the general workflow of peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) reprogramming:

Practical advice:

iPS reprogramming can be optimized by varying the amount of Klf4 to achieve maximal reprogramming efficiency. Generally, the multiplicity of infection (MOI) of KOS and c-Myc vectors should be kept at a 1:1 ratio, while the Klf4 vector can be varied independently. The standard MOI ratio for KOS:c-Myc:Klf4 is 5:5:3. To improve reprogramming efficiency, this can be changed to 5:5:6 or 10:10:6.
